LCL FREIGHT
LCL or also known as loose container load is how we usually ship loose cargo by sea. Measurements are in Cubic Meters (CBM) or in Metric Tons (MT), whichever greater. The minimum per shipment is usually at either 1cbm or 1MT.
The calculations for CBM are Length x Width x Height (CM) Div 1000000.
1MT = 1000kg
AIR FREIGHT
Air Freight is one of the fastest way to get your goods around but definitely, it comes with a higher tab because of it's efficiency. Air Freight is measured by weight (KG) or Volume (KG), whichever greater.
The calculations for Volume weight are Length x Width x Height Div 6000.
FCL FREIGHT
FCL or also known as full container load is how we usually ship a huge amount of goods by sea. Basically, you will have the entire container to yourself having flexibility on how much you would want to fill up your container with.
Containers come in various sizes but are mostly 20ft or 40ft.
Containers for various purposes are also available such as Refer containers which are containers with chillers or freezers suitable for tempreture sensitive cargo such as perishables.
